FYSFEE is my personal magazine, public notebook, creative laboratory, project archive, and place to put whatever the hell I can’t stop thinking about.
I’m Adam Hebert. I build companies, photograph people, direct creative work, publish magazines, write books, make music, chase ideas, fall down internet rabbit holes, and occasionally turn the chaos into something useful.
This isn’t a polished personal brand created by committee. It’s a life being lived, questioned, built, broken, rebuilt, and published while it’s still happening.
The Motto
It Started as a Rule for Living.
Follow Your Smile. Fuck Everything Else.
It doesn’t mean ignoring responsibility, consequences, or the people who matter. It means knowing what makes you feel alive and refusing to let fear, convention, algorithms, or somebody else’s expectations steer the entire damn car.
The smile is curiosity, meaning, joy, obsession, love, creativity, movement, and the work that won’t leave you alone. Everything else is the noise trying to talk you out of it.
Your life doesn’t need unanimous approval. It needs to feel like it actually belongs to you.

The Man Behind the Mess.
I didn’t build a personal brand around one polished version of myself. I built a collection of companies and projects around the life I’ve actually lived.
I Don’t Have One Job. I Have a Connected Life.
I spent years building companies around photography, filmmaking, storytelling, weddings, business media, publishing, local culture, and creative ideas. Eventually I stopped pretending those things were separate.
Epoch Company became the structure behind the work. Epoch Moment grew through hundreds of weddings and engagements. Epoch X and Epoch 365 expanded the storytelling beyond weddings. Epoch 360 Tours created immersive ways to experience real places. Colorado Icons and the Know Where Project gave local people, stories, businesses, and communities another place to exist.
Then the writing became books. The ideas became magazines. The book became an album. The articles became songs. Strange thoughts became advertisements for products that don’t exist. FYSFEE became the place where all those parts could finally live together.
Outside my own companies, I serve on the executive boards of TEDx Manitou Springs and TEDx Colorado Springs and act as Chief Creative Director for both. That work combines visual identity, marketing, media, stage design, event storytelling, and the challenge of helping important ideas reach people clearly.
None of it followed a clean business plan. Most of it began because I saw something missing, became obsessed with an idea, or decided I was tired of waiting for someone else to make it.

My TEDx work lets me apply everything I’ve learned about brand, photography, film, design, marketing, and storytelling to ideas capable of changing how people think.
The Less Polished Biography

Behind the titles and company names is a fairly predictable man with an unpredictable brain.
Mostly the Same Clothes
Usually a black T-shirt. Occasionally a gray jacket when I need to look like I understand what all these companies are doing.
Discipline Before Motivation
Daily workouts, long walks, consistent work, personal responsibility, and doing what needs to be done whether the feeling arrives or not.
A Brain That Never Closes
Ideas become businesses, magazines, books, songs, systems, campaigns, jokes, fake products, and occasionally several new problems.
Honest to a Fault
I value truth, loyalty, boundaries, useful work, direct conversations, dark humor, real people, and a life that doesn’t require pretending.

Pain becomes something another person can recognize themselves inside. Professional experience becomes a system. A strange joke becomes an advertisement. A question becomes an entire project.
The companies and projects aren’t separate personalities created for different markets. They’re different forms of the same instinct: understand something, preserve it, shape it, and turn it into something another person can experience.
